About Us

Nelson Art Prints was set up by John Nelson’s wife, Virginia, to produce quality art prints of his work. Since his death she has been busy expanding this business so that more people are able to enjoy his work.

“I want everybody to be able to purchase and enjoy good art, so I aim to provide exclusive quality art prints at affordable prices, in a wide range of images and sizes.”

“Gradually I taught myself the best way to photograph paintings and produce giclee prints to a very high standard. John was my quality control manager, if an image did not pass his discerning eye, I could not continue!”

“I work from home, (in Pittenweem, Fife) with a permanent gallery in the courtyard which is accessed via the garage, which for security reasons, is often closed. To view please ring the door bell. To ensure viewing please telephone to arrange an appointment to suit you.”

Pittenweem is a picturesque fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.

The well organised Annual Pittenweem Arts Festival takes place each August from the first Saturday in the month until the second Saturday. Over 100 artists take part exhibiting arts and crafts in a variety of interesting and unusual venues, wherever they can find a suitable space whether in a house or a garage or a shed! Thousands of visitors come every year to enjoy the art and the ambiance while wandering around this picturesque fishing village.
